{"id":10532,"date":"2026-07-07T19:05:55","date_gmt":"2026-07-07T19:05:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/stock999.top\/?p=10532"},"modified":"2026-07-07T19:05:55","modified_gmt":"2026-07-07T19:05:55","slug":"investors-back-forumms-new-approach-to-ticketing-daily-business","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stock999.top\/?p=10532","title":{"rendered":"Investors back Forumm&#8217;s new approach to ticketing \u2013 Daily Business"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>            <\/p>\n<p>Co-founders Dan Marrable and Dr Hilary Young<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Scottish ticketing and event technology start-up Forumm has secured \u00a3250,000 from an angel investor network to enhance its platform and expand its team.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">The funding, which was provided under the Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS), values the business at \u00a32.25 million.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Since launching in October 2025, Forumm has attracted more than 25,000 active users and continues to see strong month-on-month growth.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">The business is positioning itself as a challenger to established sector players such as Eventbrite by prioritising user experience, transparent pricing, and connections between event organisers and attendees.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Dan Marrable, CEO, who set up the business with Hilary Young, said: \u201cThe ticketing space has become overly functional and impersonal, with many organisers and attendees feeling disconnected from the experience. This investment allows us to take a significant step forward in changing that.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cOur growth to date shows there is real demand for a different approach, and this funding gives us the foundations to scale in a sustainable and measured way.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Lead investor Malcolm S Howat added: \u201cThis investment reflects strong confidence in both the team and the opportunity in front of them.
