{"id":11714,"date":"2026-07-22T06:13:59","date_gmt":"2026-07-22T06:13:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/stock999.top\/?p=11714"},"modified":"2026-07-22T06:13:59","modified_gmt":"2026-07-22T06:13:59","slug":"godongwana-reportedly-set-to-remove-pic-chairman","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stock999.top\/?p=11714","title":{"rendered":"Godongwana reportedly set to remove PIC chairman"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<p>South Africa\u2019s finance chief is preparing to oust his deputy from the position of chairman of the board of the Public Investment Corp, the state pension fund manager that\u2019s been wracked by corruption and instability, News24 reported.<\/p>\n<p>Finance Minister Enoch Godongwana called a general meeting of the PIC for July 27 at which the PIC\u2019s non-executive directors and his deputy, David Masondo, would face a shareholder vote for removal, the Cape Town-based news website said, citing a notice issued by the minister. The PIC is 100% state-owned and Godongwana acts as the government\u2019s shareholder representative.<\/p>\n<p>The removal of Masondo would be unprecedented in the history of the PIC.
