{"id":11821,"date":"2026-07-23T09:18:07","date_gmt":"2026-07-23T09:18:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/stock999.top\/?p=11821"},"modified":"2026-07-23T09:18:07","modified_gmt":"2026-07-23T09:18:07","slug":"capricorn-energy-receives-second-takeover-offer-daily-business","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stock999.top\/?p=11821","title":{"rendered":"Capricorn Energy receives second takeover offer \u2013 Daily Business"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>            <\/p>\n<p>Capricorn Energy: multiple offers<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Capricorn Energy has received a second proposed takeover offer the company, this time from Samos Energy.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">The proposal is worth 381p per share and values the company at $360m, an identical price to an offer from from Kurdistan, Iraq-focused peer\u00a0Genel Energy, as announced on 2 July.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Samos Energy is a special situations investor in energy assets pursuing asset acquisitions and financings across the sector. <\/p>\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">The London-headquartered group has a portfolio of oil and gas assets in Thailand, Vietnam and Malaysia. <\/p>\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Its proposal represents a 43% premium to Capricorn\u2019s closing \u200bprice on 10 March, the day before the interest \u200cof another rival suitor, Saudi Arabia\u2019s Cafani Group, became public.
