{"id":12780,"date":"2026-08-04T08:36:55","date_gmt":"2026-08-04T08:36:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/stock999.top\/?p=12780"},"modified":"2026-08-04T08:36:55","modified_gmt":"2026-08-04T08:36:55","slug":"hsbc-boosted-by-lending-and-wealth-management-daily-business","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stock999.top\/?p=12780","title":{"rendered":"HSBC boosted by lending and wealth management \u2013 Daily Business"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>            <\/p>\n<p>HSBC beat forecasts<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">HSBC posted a 23% surge in pre-tax profits for the first half to $19.5 billion (2025: $15.8bn), driven by higher net interest income and increased fee income, particularly from its wealth management and banking services.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">The increase was partly offset by higher expected credit losses and operating expenses, but was ahead of the $18.9bn that analysts forecast.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">HSBC plans a new buyback of up to $1bn.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Group chief executive Georges Elhedery said: \u201cHSBC is becoming the stronger bank we set out to build. We are executing our strategic priorities with pace, precision and discipline.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThis is allowing our four businesses to focus on their core strengths, grow, work together more effectively and deepen customer relationships.
