{"id":13666,"date":"2026-08-15T08:03:55","date_gmt":"2026-08-15T08:03:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/stock999.top\/?p=13666"},"modified":"2026-08-15T08:03:55","modified_gmt":"2026-08-15T08:03:55","slug":"two-towers-proposal-for-former-newspaper-site-daily-business","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stock999.top\/?p=13666","title":{"rendered":"Two towers proposal for former newspaper site \u2013 Daily Business"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>            <\/p>\n<p>The plan for Renfield Street involves two towers<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Former newspaper offices in Glasgow are likely to be replaced by a development including more student and co-living accommodation.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">A public square would also be created on the site of the Herald and Times newspapers with the relocation of a C-listed fountain and space for shops and restaurants.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">The acccommodation comprises 381 beds in a 20-storey tower, while a second 12-storey block would have 167 co-living units.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">The application by MRP 200 Ren Limited is recommended for approval by city councillors next week.
