Why we love this deal

A good freezer is one of the best purchases you can ever make. A fridge is ideal for day-to-day life when you’re frequently eating or cooking with the produce, dairy, and other products safely stored inside on a daily basis, but a freezer is a necessity, especially for the planners who appreciate a good deal so they can stock up on their favorite products and keep what they already have lasting fresher for longer. Models like the Frigidaire Freezer offer ample room to stock up on both raw and cooked frozen meats, chicken, and fish as well as fruit, veggies, bread, butter, and frozen desserts, and that storage space can certainly come at a cost. Thanks to Walmart’s latest rollback deal, however, you can get a great deal right now.

With 22,900 ratings, the Frigidaire Freezer is certainly a popular choice with shoppers, and for a limited time the vertical freezer, originally $490, is on sale for 56% off. Save $272 and even more money in the long run with a machine that’ll keep your food lasting longer so you don’t have to complete as many grocery trips in the future.

Whereas chest freezers typically take up space horizontally, this vertical freezer has a variety of tiers for your storage, and it’s a bit sleeker design-wise. Measuring 21.26 inches long, 22.24 inches wide, and 55.91 inches high, the interior of the freezer has five wire shelves for easy organizing so that you can both find and access what you’re looking for when you need it. Unlike a solid shelf, the wire shelves allow cold air to circulate freely, preventing moisture and frost buildup as well as providing a sturdy base to store your items. It also allows for the organization aspect because the shelves offer more visibility. In total, the interior has 6.5 cubic feet of storage space to hold your ice creams, sorbets, ground beef, chicken breasts, frozen fruit mix, vegetables, soups, stews and more well-preserved until you need them.

The exterior of the freezer is just as sturdy if not more. Made with vinyl-coated metal (VCM) steel, the freezer has a sleek platinum stainless steel look, but it’s actually constructed with a base steel sheet with a decorative polyvinyl chloride (PVC) or polyethylene terephthalate (PET) film laminated on top. It mimics the look of brushed metal but offers better fingerprint and smudge resistance as well as superior corrosion protection compared to stainless steel.

Temperature-wise, the freezer can be set anywhere between 6.8 degrees Fahrenheit and -11.2 degrees Fahrenheit, and there’s an external dial that’s easily adjustable to change the temperature.

It’s also designed in a space-saving way with a flush back and recessed handle. This makes it easier to fit into small spaces or tight corners, so it’s perfect for small apartments and dorm rooms as well as trailers and RVs. You can customize the door to open from left to right or right to left.
