Van den Berg, who has more than 22 years of experience in the investment industry, will start on 1 October 2026, returning to Fairtree for a second time.<\/p>\n<p>Van den Berg joins from Ninety One, where he spent over nine years and most recently served as co-head of SA Equity &amp; Multi-Asset within the asset manager\u2019s 4Factor team, overseeing portfolios across general equity, balanced strategies and equity hedge funds.<\/p>\n<p>Van den Berg previously worked at Fairtree for nine years as a portfolio manager and analyst, where he established the equities trading desk.
