{"id":16303,"date":"2026-09-17T13:54:55","date_gmt":"2026-09-17T13:54:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/stock999.top\/?p=16303"},"modified":"2026-09-17T13:54:55","modified_gmt":"2026-09-17T13:54:55","slug":"thomson-takes-up-role-as-adviser-to-growth-for-good-daily-business","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stock999.top\/?p=16303","title":{"rendered":"Thomson takes up role as adviser to Growth for Good \u2013 Daily Business"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>            <\/p>\n<p>Michelle Thomson: helping business (pic: DB Media Services)<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Former SNP MSP and MP Michelle Thomson has taken up a new role as a strategic adviser with Growth for Good which helps businesses and organisations that want to make better decisions.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Ms Thomson stood down from the Scottish parliament in May after serving as MSP for Falkirk East from 2021 and as MP for Edinburgh West from 2015 to 2017. <\/p>\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Commenting on her new role, she said: \u201cMy focus will be helping businesses and organisations test assumptions, understand the risks of action and inaction, and make better decisions where commercial priorities, public policy and responsible growth meet.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI will also continue the work that matters deeply to me in supporting women-led businesses.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Her new position takes her back into a business-facing role.
