To select, curate and prepare Moneyweb content for the CitiBusiness newspaper pages, ensuring stories are edited and adapted to meet page requirements while delivering clear, engaging and relevant business news for CitiBusiness readers.<\/p>\n

Select and collate appropriate content from Moneyweb for the CitiBusiness pages.
\nEnsure selected stories suit the CitiBusiness readership and align with the publication\u2019s editorial tone and focus.
\nEdit and cut, copy where necessary to meet page length and layout requirements.
\nWrite and refine headlines that work effectively within newspaper style and space constraints.
\nWork closely with the editorial and production teams to ensure pages are completed accurately and on deadline.
\nEnsure copy is clean, clear and publication-ready for print.
\nRemain flexible and responsive as editorial priorities or page requirements change, which is common in a fast-moving newsroom environment.
\nAssist in ensuring the final pages are balanced, engaging and representative of the day\u2019s key business news.<\/p>\n
Personal attributes and requirements<\/p>\n
The ability to multitask, prioritise and pay very close attention to detail is vital.
\nMust be a team player and hard-working, with the ability to work independently.
\nBe able to work overtime when needed.<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
At least two years\u2019 sub-editing and writing experience.
\nAt least two years\u2019 experience in print media.
\nExperience in financial journalism.
\nExemplify exceptional detail orientation.
\nExcellent command of the English language.
\nBe a dedicated team player.
\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills.
\nGood organisational and planning skills with strong attention to detail.
\nGood time management skills and be deadline oriented.<\/p>\n
