{"id":16804,"date":"2026-09-24T08:44:07","date_gmt":"2026-09-24T08:44:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/stock999.top\/?p=16804"},"modified":"2026-09-24T08:44:07","modified_gmt":"2026-09-24T08:44:07","slug":"mitchells-butlers-gains-from-cost-control-daily-business","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stock999.top\/?p=16804","title":{"rendered":"Mitchell&#8217;s &#038; Butlers gains from cost control \u2013 Daily Business"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>            <\/p>\n<p>All Bar One is one of Mitchell\u2019s &amp; Butlers brands<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Pubs group Mitchell\u2019s &amp; Butlers, which owns chains such as  Harvester, Toby Carvery, All Bar One and Miller &amp; Carter, has posted a \u201crobust\u201d trading performance and expects costs to fall.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Like-for-like sales growth of 2.1% in the year to date is ahead of the market and the group said it enters its new financial year with confidence.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">The company forecasts cost headwinds to fall from \u00a3120m in FY26 to approximately \u00a395m if FY27, equivalent to around 4% of the cost base. <\/p>\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cSupported by ongoing Ignite initiatives and the benefits of our capital investment programme, we remain well positioned to mitigate these pressures and deliver further operating profit growth,\u201d it said.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Phil Urban, chief executive, added: \u201cWe are pleased to see like-for-like sales return to growth in the fourth quarter, with trading performance ahead of the market, demonstrating the strength and resilience of our diverse portfolio of brands.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cLooking ahead, we enter the new financial year with confidence.
