{"id":18152,"date":"2026-10-13T11:47:57","date_gmt":"2026-10-13T11:47:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/stock999.top\/?p=18152"},"modified":"2026-10-13T11:47:57","modified_gmt":"2026-10-13T11:47:57","slug":"sunak-says-trump-is-a-symptom-of-breakdown-in-global-order","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stock999.top\/?p=18152","title":{"rendered":"Sunak says Trump is a \u2018symptom\u2019 of breakdown in global order"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<p>The US-led global order \u201cis over\u201d and the world has entered a period of heightened geopolitical uncertainty, former UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak said Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>President Donald Trump is \u201cnot a cause of that, he\u2019s a symptom of that,\u201d Sunak said on the first day of Bloomberg\u2019s New Economy Forum in New Delhi. \u201cThe world that we\u2019re in now is one where we don\u2019t quite know what we\u2019ve settled down to, and that creates an enormous amount of geopolitical uncertainty and indeed danger.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The world is adjusting to a new geopolitical reality, with China now a peer competitor to the US across economic, military and technological spheres, while countries including India and the Gulf states have greater freedom to chart their own course, Sunak said.<\/p>\n<p>ADVERTISEMENT<\/p>\n<p>CONTINUE READING BELOW<\/p>\n<p>Sunak, who remains a UK lawmaker, also warned of the risks stemming from dependence on China for critical minerals and key ingredients used in medicines. Efforts to reduce those vulnerabilities could make India a \u201cmassive beneficiary,\u201d as the US, UK and others look to trusted partners to diversify their supply chains, he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf you want a trusted partner like India that can provide that resilience for you.
