(Getty Images)<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;2-mile final, Brickyard 5752,&#8221; the pilot confirmed.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;2-mile final where?&#8221; the controller pressed, to which the pilot answered, &#8220;Runway 4.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;At LaGuardia?&#8221; the controller asked.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Yes, ma\u2019am,&#8221; the pilot responded.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This is Kennedy Tower, please go to LaGuardia Tower,&#8221; the controller quickly instructed.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Oh my goodness. Kennedy air traffic control tower,&#8221; the FAA said.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Air traffic control instructed the flight crew to switch to the correct frequency.
