{"id":3342,"date":"2026-04-08T00:37:19","date_gmt":"2026-04-08T00:37:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/stock999.top\/?p=3342"},"modified":"2026-04-08T00:37:19","modified_gmt":"2026-04-08T00:37:19","slug":"new-hub-gives-green-lift-to-mackies-production-daily-business","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stock999.top\/?p=3342","title":{"rendered":"New hub gives green lift to Mackie&#8217;s production \u2013 Daily Business"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>            <\/p>\n<p>Stuart Common with site supervisor Roddy Adam and Mac Mackie<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Ice cream company Mackie\u2019s of Scotland has acquired a 50,000 sq ft distribution facility that increases capacity and will improve the production process.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">The hub, in Kintore, Aberdeenshire, will remove the need for longer journeys through third-party distribution networks.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Stuart Common, managing director, said: \u201cThis is an exciting move that strengthens our foundations and gives us greater control over how we get our products to customers efficiently and, importantly, sustainably, from right here in Aberdeenshire.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">\u201cBy bringing more of our distribution under our control here in the North-east, we can do more locally, keep skills and expertise in the region, and significantly reduce the distance our products travel \u2013 something that really matters to us both commercially and from a sustainability point of view.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Executive Chairman Maitland (Mac) Mackie added: \u201cThis is a really pivotal moment in our history.
