Aberdeen FC has appointed Nic Heslop as its new commercial director.<\/p>\n
Most recently in a similar role with Welsh events company Genero Group, Heslop will take up his new position in June.<\/p>\n
He brings over 15 years\u2019 experience in senior commercial roles, including a lengthy spell at Cardiff City, where he oversaw partnerships, sponsorship, CRM and hospitality, delivering consistent year-on-year growth across the department.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s a real honour to have been given the opportunity to build upon the strong foundations that are in place here,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt is clear this is a club with real ambition, a highly committed group of partners, and an incredibly loyal supporter base.<\/p>\n
\u201cMy focus will be to work with the team to build upon those established relationships, making sure we\u2019re as clear and effective as possible in how we go to market, whilst also ensuring we continue to identify and capitalise upon emerging opportunities in front of us.\u201d<\/p>\n
