Alleyoop, the Glasgow-based marketing agency, has announced plans to expand into London.<\/p>\n
Senior media figure Den Farmer has been appointed as the managing partner of the new operation. He was most recently commercial director with Fix Radio, and prior to that built a strong track record across media, partnerships and revenue growth during 18 years at Bauer Media in London.<\/p>\n
Mr Carlin is a former sales director at Bauer Media Group and is excited to be reunited with his former colleague at such a pivotal time for his company.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019ve seen strong growth over the last 12 months,\u201d said the Alleyoop managing director. \u201cLondon is the natural next step \u2013 but only with the right people. Den is exactly that, and the perfect person to lead this move given his experience in driving growth in competitive markets.\u201d<\/p>\n
Alleyoop has enjoyed consistent success over the past four years combining digital performance with large-scale media buying to support the rapid growth of brands such as Prime Property Auctions, Borders Competitions and Total Golf Discount.<\/p>\n
Hailing the milestone in the firm\u2019s UK growth plan, strategy director Lauren Marshall said: \u201cThe relationships we have built \u2013 with our clients, our suppliers, and within our own team \u2013 have been the engine behind everything we have achieved.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhen it came to London, we knew we needed someone who shared that philosophy. We know how Den operates and how his clients feel about him. That\u2019s not something you can put in a job spec \u2013 and it made him the only choice.\u201d<\/p>\n
As well as leading on growing the London market, Mr Farmer will also focus on client relationships and overall commercial performance as Alleyoop looks to make a major impression south of the Border.<\/p>\n
