The administration’s report states that if the bolt is knocked out of place, the seat may not properly restrain a passenger, increasing the risk of injury in a crash.

The NHTSA report does not indicate any injuries or incidents tied to the issue and does not provide additional details on how the defect was identified.

FORD RECALLS OVER 140,000 PICKUP TRUCKS OVER WIRING FIRE RISK

Ford Broncos on a lot at a dealership April 18, 2025, in Austin, Texas. An additional letter is expected to be sent to car owners regarding a more permanent remedy in July 2026.

FORD RECALLS NEARLY 1.4 MILLION F-150 PICKUP TRUCKS OVER GEARSHIFT ISSUE

Ford Motor Co. signage is displayed outside a dealership with the General Motors Co. headquarters building standing in the distance in Detroit.
