The US-Israeli war with Iran is \u201cnot over\u201d because there\u2019s nuclear material in the country that still needs to be removed, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cYou go in, and you take it out,\u201d Netanyahu said in an interview with CBS\u2019\u00a060 Minutes\u00a0when asked about Iran\u2019s highly enriched uranium. \u201cAll that is still there, and there\u2019s work to be done.\u201d<\/p>\n

Netanyahu declined to elaborate when asked if US or Israeli special forces would enter Iran to remove the nuclear material. He said President Donald Trump has indicated that he wished to go into Iran.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cI think it can be done physically,\u201d Netanyahu told CBS. \u201cThat\u2019s not the problem. That\u2019s a terrifically important mission.\u201d<\/p>\n

The best way forward would be an agreement with Iran on the nuclear material, he said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Iran said Sunday it\u00a0submitted\u00a0a response to the latest US proposal to end the 10-week-long war. In recent days, US officials including Trump have said that they were waiting for the response before taking any major action. \u00a0<\/p>\n

Netanyahu\u2019s comments on US television echoed his call last month for removing enriched nuclear material from Iran\u00a0with or without an agreement, after Israel and the US established a ceasefire with Iran on April 8. At the time, he said \u201cthe\u00a0campaign is not yet over.\u201d<\/p>\n
