Public affairs consultancy\u00a056\u00b0\u00a0North has strengthened its senior team with the appointment of corporate communications specialist Lesley McPherson as associate partner.\u00a0<\/p>\n
She will join\u00a056\u00b0\u00a0North\u2019s senior team of managing partners Anthony Thompson and John Penman, and partner Paula Sutherland.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Based in Edinburgh, 56\u00b0\u00a0North\u2019s client\u00a0list includes Santander, Nationwide Building Society, Hampden Bank, Glasgow 2026, and Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The appointment comes at a pivotal time for the firm, following a series of significant new client wins across the financial services sector.<\/p>\n
Ms McPherson is a corporate communications leader with extensive experience from senior roles in banking, life assurance and local government, having served on executive committees and advised at board level.<\/p>\n
Her career spans a number of blue chip firms including Aegon UK, Edinburgh City Council, five years as director of communications at the Co-operative Bank and, more recently, communications director at Nottingham Building Society.<\/p>\n
