{"id":7369,"date":"2026-05-28T08:46:47","date_gmt":"2026-05-28T08:46:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/stock999.top\/?p=7369"},"modified":"2026-05-28T08:46:47","modified_gmt":"2026-05-28T08:46:47","slug":"buchanan-to-help-build-commsworlds-uk-growth-daily-business","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stock999.top\/?p=7369","title":{"rendered":"Buchanan to help build Commsworld&#8217;s UK growth \u2013 Daily Business"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>            <\/p>\n<p>Melony Buchanan: company first<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Commsworld, one of the UK\u2019s largest independent network providers, has strengthened its senior leadership team with the appointment of Melony Buchanan as its first chief revenue officer.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Ms Buchanan will be a key figure in the Edinburgh-headquartered company\u2019s UK-wide growth plan.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Most recently at Capita, she led strategy and delivery across its public sector portfolio, having previously overseen the highly-successful Scottish Wide Area Network (SWAN) as managing director.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">She said: \u201cI believe that Commsworld is uniquely positioned to support the public and private sector in tackling some of the biggest UK challenges. <\/p>\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThese include safer social housing, digital exclusion, public service re-design, and business resilience \u2013 not because of our national infrastructure and valued propositions, but because we place customers at the heart of what we do, delivering affordable, reliable connectivity.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Steve Langmead, chief executive, said: \u201cWe have achieved so much over the last few years, especially in terms of long-term public sector contracts, doubling our turnover in five years from \u00a320m to \u00a340m. <\/p>\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI now want Commsworld to more than double that again over the next five years.
