{"id":9479,"date":"2026-06-24T07:10:37","date_gmt":"2026-06-24T07:10:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/stock999.top\/?p=9479"},"modified":"2026-06-24T07:10:37","modified_gmt":"2026-06-24T07:10:37","slug":"lindsays-adds-dallas-mcmillan-in-latest-merger-daily-business","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stock999.top\/?p=9479","title":{"rendered":"Lindsays adds Dallas McMillan in latest merger \u2013 Daily Business"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>            <\/p>\n<p>Andrew Diamond and David McElroy<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Legal firm\u00a0Lindsays\u00a0has announced its fourth merger in the past decade by acquiring the Glasgow firm Dallas McMillan. <\/p>\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">The deal, which takes effect on 1 September, will see Dallas McMillan partners and staff transfer to Lindsays whose Glasgow-based team will increase from 80 to 123.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Total headcount \u2013 including offices in its Edinburgh head office,\u00a0Dundee,\u00a0Perth\u00a0and Crieff \u2013 will rise to 417.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Dallas McMillan has six partners and 37 staff. No job losses are anticipated as part of the merger.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Lindsays\u2019 expansion has included mergers with Shield &amp; Kyd (2012), MacLachlan &amp; MacKenzie (2012), RSB Macdonald (2015), Aitken Nairn (2018), Hadden Rankin (2019) and Miller Hendry (2023).<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Managing partner Andrew Diamond said: \u201cWe are looking forward to welcoming the team from Dallas McMillan to the Lindsays family.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe are committed to expanding our presence in Glasgow. We have been seeking the ideal fit for a merger in Glasgow for some time and believe this is it, bringing good people and good clients into the firm.
