Welcome to The Property Pod, South Africa’s premier property investor podcast.

This weekly Moneyweb show features leaders in the local real estate sector sharing insights on hot button issues, trends, opportunities, new developments and more. The pod is also now available as a video on our YouTube channel, MoneywebTV.

It is one of the oldest property industry bodies in the country, and will mark its milestone 60th year at its annual Sapoa Convention at Sun City at the end of the month.

CEO Neil Gopal has been with the organisation for more than a third of that time, some 23 years.

He’s been on the podcast a few times, but with this being a landmark year and Sapoa being in the news taking on the City of Cape Town in a major rates battle over the past year, we have him on again to talk about this and more.
