Taco Bell lets rewards members bid on exclusive prizes — but it's really a raffle
3 min readTaco Bell is betting that a few rounds of mini games can keep customers opening its app, and it is dangling a trip to a Las Vegas concert and a signed NFL jersey to make the case.
The chain has added Bid on Luxe, a new gamification feature in its Rewards program. Eligible members play weekly mini games to earn virtual Paddles, then spend those Paddles on entries in random drawings for exclusive experiences and collectibles.
The promotion runs from Sept. 21 through Nov. 1, 2026. New mini games launch every Monday, and prize windows open every Friday for 24 hours. Gameplay and entries for the final window close Oct. 30.

Paddles up, but this is not an auction
Despite the name, nobody is outbidding anybody. Rewards members who are 21 or older and live in the U.S. can play through the free Taco Bell app, and no purchase is required.
Players can complete mini games up to six times a day and earn up to 350 Paddles daily from gameplay. Bonus Paddles are available for a first completed game, consecutive days of play and consistent weekly participation in the final week. Members can also earn extras by opting in to text message notifications or by using an alternative method.
During each Friday window, every 50 Paddles buys one entry into that week’s drawing. The minimum is 50 Paddles for one entry, and the maximum is 2,500 Paddles, or 50 entries, per person per drawing.
Unused Paddles roll over to later windows until the final one. Each entry has an equal chance of winning, no matter how many Paddles a player uses on it.

A prize pool worth roughly $104,050
Across the six weeks, the prize pool carries an approximate retail value of $104,050. The headliners are two Doja Cat On Tour experiences in Las Vegas. Each is valued at about $5,100 and includes airfare, a hotel stay, VIP tickets, merchandise and a behind-the-scenes element tied to the singer and rapper’s tour.
The sports side of the ledger features one signed jersey from wide receiver Davante Adams and one all-access Los Angeles football experience with tickets, field access and tailgating.
Art and game-night fans get their own shots. Prizes include one original oil painting by artist Matt McCormick, 25 signed limited-edition prints and 100 collectible chess sets. Five winners will also land Pacifica Taco Bell Cantina Getaways in the San Francisco area.

Official rules are posted on the Taco Bell website. The feature adds another interactive layer to the Rewards program alongside existing elements such as Tuesday Drops.
The crunchadilla keeps the luxe theme affordable
The luxury branding extends to the menu, where Taco Bell expanded its Luxe Value Menu with the Crunchadilla. Both the Classic Chicken and Sriracha Chicken versions cost $2.
The item, previously tested in Oklahoma City, starts with a warm flour tortilla filled with grilled marinated all-white-meat chicken and a blend of mozzarella, pepper jack and cheddar cheeses. It also gets a crisp tortilla shell, reduced-fat sour cream, and either Creamy Jalapeño Sauce or Sriracha Sauce, then it is grilled.
Other recent additions include Double Dipping Burritos at $5.99 for a pair of snack-sized items, or as part of a $9 Discovery Luxe Box. Creamy Sriracha Chicken is also available on Signature Nacho Fries for $5.49. Separately, the chain is testing a Baja Chicken lineup in the Sacramento market.
These moves fit the broader push by Taco Bell’s parent company, Yum Brands, toward digital engagement, value offerings and menu innovation. In the second quarter of 2026, Taco Bell posted 7% same-store sales growth and continued to outperform the broader quick-service industry on that metric. The brand later faced temporary pressure from an industry-wide food safety issue.
For a chain built on $2 menu items, Bid on Luxe is an unusual flex. Taco Bell is pairing a Doja Cat trip and a signed Adams jersey with a free app game, and it is counting on Paddles, Fridays and a steady stream of affordable chicken to keep members coming back.
