Heineken’s Paul Mazoyer is expected to take up the newly-created position of head of business operations at Celtic.
Mazoyer has been with the brewing giant for 14 years, having spent five years as head of customer care before recently moving to head of on trade operations.
He is set to assume responsibility for improving a range of supporter services at Parkhead, including retail operations, ticketing, hospitality sales and stadium services.
Discord among the fan base has been the backdrop to Celtic’s roller-coaster season and interim chairman Brian Wilson will be hoping Mazoyer’s arrival will herald the start of a thawing of relations.
According to the job advert, which is now closed, responsibilities are noted as including ‘leading the overall team to drive an effective, supportive and engaging function to deliver world class supporter services’.
The new person will also be tasked with ‘driving supporter service and commercial performance and growth across these key supporter services.”
