Scottish entry: St Modwen Homes
St Modwen Homes is making its first move into the Scottish market, launching four developments that will deliver 268 homes in the east and west of the country.
The brand has an established presence in England and Wales and is entering the Scottish market after Miller Homes acquired the business last year.
In the east, it is building at Shawfair in Danderhall, which will be followed by Muiravonside Meadow in Whitecross, Falkirk.
In the coming weeks, the brand will launch Huxley Quarter at Clydesdale Works in Bellshill, followed by Everley Park in Bargeddie in January 2027.
Miller Homes Group acquired St Modwen Homes in January 2025. The two brands provide distinct designs, appealing to varied customer choices, while sitting at a similar price point.
David McGrath, Miller Homes Group’s Executive Managing Director, Scotland and North, said: “Launching the St. Modwen Homes brand in Scotland is an important milestone for the wider Miller Homes Group.
“These first developments demonstrate how we can use the strength of our established regional platform to provide a wider choice of high-quality homes for our customers.”
Shawfair, Muiravonside Meadow, Huxley Quarter and Everley Park will together contribute almost 270 homes.
