Is Starbucks open on Easter?

2 min read

Just because it’s a holiday weekend doesn’t mean you can live without coffee. So if a Starbucks run is part of your Sunday routine, you may be wondering whether you can still grab that dirty chai latte or mocha this holiday.

Starbucks does not enforce a company-wide holiday schedule, meaning individual stores set their own hours based on staffing, location, and demand.

The short answer: Yes, most Starbucks locations are open on Easter.

While many standalone cafés and drive-thru locations remain open, some locations, including those inside grocery stores, malls, or smaller communities, may have reduced hours or be closed for the day.

Customers planning a coffee run should check ahead using the Starbucks app or online store locator to confirm local hours and avoid surprises.

Easter is not typically considered one of Starbucks’ major closure holidays, unlike Thanksgiving or Christmas Day, when more widespread closures or reduced hours are common.

For travelers, last-minute shoppers, or anyone hosting Easter brunch, odds are good the nearest Starbucks will be open.

The Starbucks app will tell customers if their local Starbucks is open.
