When they first arrived on the scene, nothing seemed more futuristic and borderline unattainable than a high-tech smartwatch. However, times have changed, and so have prices. An incredible piece of technology that fits on your wrist used to cost hundreds, if not thousands of dollars. Many still do. However, we found one on sale at Amazon whose price absolutely blew our minds, and we think it’ll shock you too.

The Durexo Smartwatch and Fitness Tracker is on sale for $9. You read that right. It’s currently just $9. The original price wasn’t a whole lot more at $10, but a sale is a sale. That’s still an additional 10% off the regular price, and who are we to look a gift horse in the mouth?

There isn’t much that this watch can’t do. It has a crystal clear 1.69-inch full color touchscreen that allows you to control every aspect of your experience in seconds. What’s more, it gives you full access to almost all the apps and information on your smartphone or tablet. Simply connect via Bluetooth and you’re off to the races. It’s compatible with most Apple iOS 9 and Android 4.4 or later phones. I’ve owned multiple smartwatches and fitness trackers, and one of the most convenient aspects for me has always been the ability to send and receive phone calls and texts right on my wrist. You can even sit in a meeting and have a full text conversation with your spouse or partner at home while your boss is none the wiser. 

In addition to standard phone communications, the watch can help with planning and organizing, making use of all the most convenient apps in your phone. It can access your calendar, email, and even open documents. I’ve found that a smartwatch can improve my efficiency and productivity just by giving me immediate access to basic information without ever taking my phone out of my pocket. I can even get meeting reminders so I don’t accidentally miss one when things get hectic. Although a larger 2-inch screen might make reading such messages easier, it would also make it more obvious.

In addition to all the practical scheduling and work-related functions this watch offers, it’s also a full-fledged fitness tracker. It can keep tabs on steps, calories burned, sleep quality, heart rate, milage, and a host of other data points. It has multiple sport modes including running, basketball, tennis, cycling, swimming, etc. Speaking of swimming, the watch has 50 meters of water resistance, so you won’t have to worry about internal damage when using it around the water. You can use it for a full 7-10 days on a full charge and it lasts up to 30 days in standby mode. That means you can even take it on a short trip and will likely never need to recharge it the entire time. Because the watch is so inexpensive, it might have been nice to have multiple color variants in case people want to buy more than one. Nevertheless, that’s a classy problem to have.
