The former Rolls-Royce site in East Kilbride
The vacant Rolls-Royce site in East Kilbride has been brought to market with options for further industrial use or a housing development.
Occupying a prominent position on the northern edge of the Nerston Industrial Estate, the 10.5 acre plot is expected to attract strong interest.
Adam Honeyman, partner at selling agent Shepherd Chartered Surveyors, said: “The site is currently zoned for redevelopment within Use Classes 5 and 6, covering general industrial and storage and distribution uses, although it may also be suitable for residential redevelopment, subject to securing the appropriate planning consents.
“Given the site’s strategic location, strong transport connectivity and proximity to a large residential population, we anticipate significant interest from developers and owner-occupiers alike.
“We are seeking unconditional bids from interested parties, with preference given to offers that can demonstrate immediate availability of funds from cash reserves.”
