Celebrity hospitality in St Andrews

A former cinema in St Andrews housing a leisure development backed by golfer Tiger Woods and the singer and actor Justin Timberlake has been put up for sale.

Shepherd Chartered Surveyors is bringing the premises in St Andrews to market as an investment opportunity.

The category B listed building on North Street is let to Woods’ and Timberlake’s T-Squared Social and was formerly known as the New Picture House, understood to date from 1931. It has an open-plan restaurant and bar.

Jonathan Reid, partner at Shepherd, said: “We anticipate much interest in these hospitality premises from property investors seeking to expand their prime property portfolios.”

Offers over £650,000, representing a net initial yield of 6.59%, are invited. The tenant has right of first refusal to purchase the building.

Woods and Timberlake unveiled their gastropub plans in October 2023 and later agreed to retain a cinema in the building.
