A shirt jacket, or a shacket, has the look of your traditional flannel button down but it’s typically made with a heavier material the way a jacket or a coat is. With a cotton and polyester flannel shell, this shacket blends the benefits of both fabrics to create a piece of apparel that’s soft and breathable with excellent durability and color retention. Although overall, it’s more weighted than a standard shirt, these fabrics help keep it lightweight so that it doesn’t overwhelm you or your silhouette. The polyester specifically helps prevent shrinkage and wrinkling, allowing the shacket to keep its shape and condition over time after lots of wear and wash, plus the brushed fleece surface offers great insulation to keep you warm and cozy.

Others find it well-constructed, especially the outer shell which is important when you’re dealing with unpredictable weather elements. It looks great on both tall and short silhouette’s, and, according to shoppers, provides a surprisingly amount of warmth. Although advertised as a men’s shirt jacket, many women love wearing it just the same, and in fact love that it runs a bit more oversized on their frames compared to their male counterparts. “This shirt jacket is toasty warm and soft. I catch myself stealing it from my husband quite often,” another shopper said.
