Spirit Media: fantastic client list

Media buying agency Spirit Media Scotland has been acquired by E&B Holdings, a company founded by former MediaCom executives Danny Donovan and Jamie Venerus.

The pair will become joint CEOs at the Leith-based agency which works across all media channels including OOH, TV, radio, print, direct mail, online, digital and social.

Spirit Media was set up Graham Milne and Philip Jones in 2002 and has built a client list that includes the University of Edinburgh, Highland Spring and Police Scotland.

Mr Milne remains in the new position of chair while Mr Jones has left the business.

Mr Donovan was formerly Mediahub UK CEO and MediaCom London managing director. He formed Build Media in 2022. Mr Venerus was managing partner at MediaCom, Mindshare and Maxus. He launched his own agency ENDVR in 2021.

Both Build Media and ENDVR will continue to operate independently and are unaffected by the acqusition.
