Brown’s ‘honour’ at Warriors role

Glasgow Warriors have appointed Kenny Brown as their permanent managing director after a six-month interim period in the role.

Brown took over from Al Kellock last year after he left to take on the position of Scottish Rugby Head of Performance Pathways.

“It’s an incredible honour to be appointed managing director of a club I’ve been proud to serve for many years,” Brown said.

“The last six months have reinforced just how special this club is, from our players and backroom team, to our sponsors, partners and, of course, our supporters.

“I’m hugely grateful for the trust that’s been placed in me and I’m excited to continue building on the strong foundations already in place.”
